The STIHL HSA 100 battery hedge trimmer offers effective support in horticulture and landscaping, as well as public authorities, for efficiently and conveniently trimming and pruning large hedges in noise-sensitive areas. The STIHL HSA 100 is a very high-performance hedge trimmer with a maintenance-free EC engine. The engine is powered by lithium-ion batteries from the STIHL AP-System. It always delivers a constant stroke rate even under load, and even when cutting thicker branches. The double-sided cutting blade delivers precise cuts, both when trimming and pruning. If tough branches block the blade system, you can quickly get going again simply by changing the rotation direction.
You can turn the improved multi-function handle 90° to the left and right at the push of a button, enabling you to use your STIHL HSA 100 to cut in a highly ergonomic manner in different positions, for example when cutting to the side or at head height. This allows you to easily guide your hedge trimmer with both your left and right hand. The loop handle also supports effortless working with the hedge trimmer. The STIHL anti-vibration system reduces engine vibrations, protecting your muscles and joints during longer periods of work.
Screw-on cut protection reduces the risk of contact with the cutting blades, thereby supporting safe work with the HSA 100 from STIHL. When cutting near the ground or on walls, the cutting attachment is protected against wear by the screw-on tip protector.

Transport and store your hedge trimmer and shrub shears safely and securely with the tailor-made blade scabbard. - Two-Hand Control
You can start the power tool easily by simultaneously pressing the switches on the loop handle and on the rear handle. Two-hand control can be operated by right-handed or left-handed users. - Functional Design
