We reserve the absolute right to decline a price match request if fulfilling it would compromise our standard business viability, fall below sustainable operating margins, or conflict with our commercial supplier arrangements.

1. Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for an evaluation, the competitor’s offer must meet all of the following benchmarks:
- Identical Product: The item must be identical in brand, model number, color, inclusions, and specific Australian retail configuration.
- Current Live Stock: The item must be physically in stock, clearly visible, and available for immediate retail purchase at both the competitor’s store and Alliance Hardware at the time of verification.
- Total Postpaid Cost: The matched price comparison must incorporate all total delivery and fulfillment overheads, including GST, environmental levies, and freight/handling charges mapped to your specific delivery postcode.
- STIHL Products: Price match evaluations for STIHL items apply exclusively if the competitor is an officially certified, Authorised Australian STIHL Dealer.
2. Strict Exclusions
We do not evaluate or match prices sourced under the following circumstances:
- Marketplace platforms, auction houses, or classified networks (including, but not limited to, Amazon, eBay, Gumtree, Facebook Marketplace, and third-party Bunnings Marketplace sellers).
- Competitor typographical errors, pricing glitches, system misprints, or obvious data entry mistakes.
- Liquidation sales, clearance events, stock dumps, closeouts, receivership stock, or damaged/ex-display items.
- Conditional offers, bundled deals, buy-one-get-one-free promos, cashback incentives, coupon codes, or manufacturer-direct redemption structures.
- Commercial trade accounts, wholesale contract schedules, personalised volume quotes, or member-only private portal rates (e.g., PowerPass or custom corporate tiering).
- Submissions made by commercial re-sellers, bulk buyers, or buying syndicates.
3. Verification & Transactional Limits
- Verification Authority: Our team reserves the right to independently verify live competitor pricing and stock status before issuing any custom adjustments.
- Quantity Constraints: Approved price match adjustments are strictly capped at a maximum of one (1) single item per customer.
- Promotion Stacking: Approved price matches operate as individual, standalone adjustments and cannot be combined with any concurrent internal storewide sales, discount vouchers, or reward point bonuses.
- Policy Modifications: Alliance Hardware reserves the right to amend, suspend, or terminate this request framework at any time without prior notification.

Our verification process is performed manually by our local staff and will typically be finalised within 2 business hours. Once reviewed, you will receive a direct communication outlining our response. If your request is approved, we will provide a single-use coupon code valid exclusively for that transactional session.
