Description

The compact, lightweight STIHL HLA 40 battery extended hedge trimmer with telescopic shaft and adjustable cutter bar is ideal for cutting taller hedges, shrubs and bushes as well as ground cover and ornamental trees in private settings. It works with high-performance lithium-ion batteries from the STIHL AS system. The motor of the STIHL HLA 40 is so quiet that you can even use the extended hedge trimmer without hearing protection and in noise-sensitive areas.

With the ergonomically optimised control handle with soft-grip surfaces, all the control elements are securely at your fingertips. The wraparound handle and tool-free adjustable telescopic shaft contribute to the easy handling of the STIHL HLA 40 battery extended hedge trimmer. For comfortable, flexible work, the included shoulder strap can be quickly clipped on or off a carrying ring on the shaft and on the tool.

The laser-cut, diamond-ground and hardened cutting blades deliver high cutting performance. Tool-free blade angle adjustment allows you to easily adjust the blade angle through 115°, from -45° to +70° for overhead and side cuts. The screwed-on tip guard protects the cutting attachment when working close to the ground.

Thanks to the splittable shaft, you can shorten the total length from 260 cm to 115 cm, making it easy to transport the extended hedge trimmer and compactly store it on a wall holder.

The HLA 40 battery extended hedge trimmer has a cutting length of 45 cm.
