The powerful and handy STIHL TSA 230 battery cut-off machine is ideal for professional applications in horticulture and landscaping, road construction, roof and interior finishing, as well as various applications in structural engineering and civil engineering. Thanks to its excellent balance, compact design, low weight and high performance, you can make short cuts in bricks and blocks, tackle cutting work in building materials, cut rebar and metal profiles to length, and cut metal and composites with high precision, even in confined spaces.
The 230 mm cutting wheel of the STIHL TSA 230 allows for cutting depths up to 70 mm. The ergonomic handle of the STIHL TSA 230 ensures you can hold it securely and guide it precisely as you cut. The brushless, high-performance EC motor is practically wear-free. Its electronic control function always optimally adapts the power and speed to the material to be cut.
Thanks to its emissions-free operation, the TSA 230 battery cut-off machine can even be used inside buildings, for example in factory halls. In settings like these, it is particularly important that dust generated during cutting is immediately bound. The integrated water connection takes care of that. Alternatively, you can reduce dust exposure with the optional STIHL depth stop. This ensures that the dust generated is extracted directly into a connected wet and dry vacuum cleaner, such as the STIHL SE 133 ME.
Changing the cut-off wheel is very easy: simply press the spindle lock, loosen the retaining screw with a spanner and then tighten it again. Other advantages include the runout brake feature, which brakes the cutting wheel within seconds, and the STIHL magnesium guard with integrated water guide.
